“Salsa & Sangria,” the second of the three Picnic on the Plaza events, brings music, dance, and outdoor dining to Montclair Village. Don’t know how to Salsa dance? Join us for lessons!
Schedule:
12-1pm: Open Floor (Dímelo DJ set)
1-2pm: Absolute Beginners’ Salsa Lessons
2-4pm: Salsa Social (Dímelo DJ set)
All contributions to the entertainment hosts, Oakland Salsa Club, go towards providing free dance education for our historically marginalized and underserved community in Oakland.
Sunday’s event is free to the public. Between activities, visit the Sangria Bar, pick up bites from the nearby Village Farmers’ Market and the 20+ Montclair restaurants/eateries, then settle in at community tables in Antioch Court.
Save the date for Halloween Fun on October 25 from 10 a.m.–2 p.m., featuring trick-or-treating and seasonal activities.
