The first of the three Picnic on the Plaza events returns this Sunday, with a focus on the Health and Wellness practitioners in Montclair and the surrounding area. Come check out the various businesses such as Village Chiropractic, MVP Pilates, Massage by Marcelina, The Bay Chiropractic and more.
In addition to the vendors, there will be interactive demonstrations throughout the day,. See the full schedule below:
12:15-12:30: Emily Butts from InnerGreat: Lymphatic Care, “The Big Six: A Technique That Activates the Major Lymphatic Drainage Landmarks”
12:30 1:00: Mark Sutro from CRUfit talking about their upcoming Wellness Event plus a rowing demo
1:00-1:30: Melina Meza from Mountain Yoga leads a session
1:45-2:15: Leticia Williams, LCSW Talk about Mental Health (Ask Your Questions Here)
2:30 3:00: MVP Pilates Demonstration
Sunday’s event is free to the public. Visit the booths, take part in one of the demos, and enter for a chance to win a raffle prize from one of our merchants. Between activities, visitors can pick up bites and beverages from the nearby Village Farmers’ Market and Montclair restaurants, then relax and enjoy their meals at community tables in the plaza.
Two more themed Picnic on the Plaza events are planned this fall. Salsa & Sangria, a theme selected by the Montclair community, takes place September 20 from 12–4 p.m., followed by Halloween Fun on October 25 from 10 a.m.–2 p.m., featuring trick-or-treating and seasonal activities. Additional details about both events will be announced soon.
