The Montclair Village Association proudly announces our 2006 Holiday Stroll. Come and join us for this Village-wide event on December 7th from 6 to 9 pm. Festivities will include horse drawn wagon rides, a motorized Cable Car with stops at participating local businesses, music, prizes, refreshments of all kinds, store sales and many other treats and surprises for the whole family. Feel free to join us in a fun holiday costume.

Wagon Rides
Fancy Farriage by Horse and Carriage is coming to the Holiday Stroll! Wagon rides are $2 per person and tickets can be purchased at the Information Booth located at La Salle Ave and Mountain Blvd. Passengers will get on the wagon at Utopia Designer Fashions located at 6466 Moraga Ave.

Ride the Motorized Cable Car
Returning as a huge hit at last year's stroll, attendees are welcome to take free rides on the motorized cable car circulating throughout the Village. Please pick up a map at the information desk to find the station locations.

Street Entertainment
The Pacific Boychoir, "Christmas Stringers" from Holy Names Univ. Prep., the Montera School Choir, the Zion Lutheran Church Choir, and local bands

Parking
Please be sure to get into the Village as early as possible and use the parking garage or Montclair Elementary School parking areas. The parking garage will close at 9:30 PM.

A Night of Giving and Receiving Continues…
The Montclair Village Association is collecting for the East Oakland Community Project, a new homeless shelter being built from the ground up. This amazing organization is working hard to create a healthy environment so people can get back on their feet. Please bring toys, canned food or work clothes to the collection bins located at Mountain Blvd and La Salle Ave.
